The Milky Way over observatory domes at Kitt Peak, Arizona
About Stargaze

Built around the night.

Most places near the Grand Canyon are built for the day. We’re building for the hours after it.

Why we exist

The sky is disappearing. Not here.

The NPS says nearly 80% of Americans can no longer see the Milky Way.

Grand Canyon National Park is fighting back. It has been a certified International Dark Sky Park since 2019.

Our principles

How we’ll treat the night

01

Keep it dark

We’re planning around the sky, not against it.

02

Keep it quiet

The night sets the pace.

03

Leave no trace

We’ll build lightly and ask guests to follow Leave No Trace principles.

04

Tell it straight

One honest drive time. Real photos. No inflated claims.
